I am the practice manager for Camelback Spine Care. I am also an experienced certified coder and biller and have been for more than 30 years, specializing in orthopedics with a subspecialty in spine. I have worked with Dr. Bedi for 10 years now. I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure our office runs smoothly and successfully. I also ensure accuracy of claims, adherence to laws and regulations, create office policies and handle public relations. I consider myself to be extremely passionate about my position and the care of our patients.
I moved from New Jersey to Arizona in 2007. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and spoiling my granddaughter.
I am the surgical coordinator here at Camelback Spine Care. I have been a spine surgery coordinator for 15 years and working with Dr. Bedi for nearly 10 years now. I really enjoy my position as it allows me to assist our patients through the beginnings of the surgery process. I assist in scheduling a surgery date and facility, obtain insurance authorizations, send out referrals, coordinate surgical details with vendors and hospitals, and set up postoperative visits. I grew up in Tucson and graduated from Sunnyside High School and attended Pima Community College.
I have lived in the Phoenix area for 25 years. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I am the Medical Assistant for our office. I have been a Medical Assistant for 6 years and with Dr. Bedi for almost 5 of those years. I attended Arizona College and obtained my degree in 2015. I love being the Medical Assistant for Dr. Bedi and Physician Assistant Stephanie Hurd. My position allows me to work one on one with our patients and provide personalized care. I prepare charting for clinic days, triage patient phone calls, obtain vital signs, remove sutures and staples postoperatively, and assist in all other areas as the clinic requires.
